What to Pack in an Emergency Wedding Day Kit

As a wedding planner, I always recommend having an emergency kit on hand on the wedding day. Here are some essential items to include:

  1. Mini Sewing Kit: This should include needles, thread, scissors, and safety pins.

  2. Band-Aids: Make sure to have a variety of sizes and types, including blister Band-Aids.

  3. Pain Relievers: Pack some over-the-counter pain relievers, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, in case of headaches or other aches and pains.

  4. Tissues: For those happy tears, make sure to have a pack of tissues handy.

  5. Stain Remover: Accidents happen, so be prepared with a stain remover pen or wipes.

  6. Water and Snacks: Keep some water and non-perishable snacks on hand in case anyone needs a quick pick-me-up.

  7. Makeup and Beauty Essentials: Pack a mini makeup bag with touch-up essentials like lip balm, mascara, and blotting papers.

  8. Extra Phone Charger: Make sure to have an extra phone charger on hand to keep everyone's devices charged throughout the day.

  9. Breath Mints or Gum: Keep some breath mints or gum on hand to freshen up before the wedding ceremony and reception.

  10. Deodorant: Pack a travel-sized deodorant to freshen up throughout the day.

Having an emergency kit on hand can help you be prepared for any unexpected situations that may arise on the wedding day. As a wedding planner, I always make sure to have one of these kits with me on the big day.
